StandStrong fitness is designed to make you feel as comfortable as possible as we know sometimes it can feel daunting. Our team helps members transform their lifestyle physically and mentally while encouraging community growth and a no-ego attitude.



Our coaches have over 20 years of experience working with women, fitness and wellbeing. We constantly strive to be better by regular feedback and attending training courses.



Our growing StandStrong community is all about having fun and getting fit. The women-only offers you a conscious free environment and is a great place to make friends and focus on achieving your health and fitness goals.

One of the biggest problems for people looking to get fit or lose weight is that they aren't sure exactly how to do it. The best thing about fitness classes is that you don't have to know what you're doing. You can show up to the class and follow the coach. As long as you move, you will get exercise.  

 When joining a class, there's no guessing about what to do at the gym. We remove the confusion and insert action. 

  •  "How do I swing this metal ball?" 
  •  "What do I use this tool for?" 
  •  "How many reps do I do?" 

These are the common questions you won't have in a class because they will all be explained.

We take care and thought when planning our facilities, which is why we are constantly working with our members to ensure we help them achieve their health and fitness goals. Some of our members have cultural reasons or trauma for choosing to train in the women-only fitness classes - we want all our women to feel confident whilst exercising in privacy.

As a member of StandStrong fitness, you will have access to all fitness classes. There are 20 classes per week for you to enjoy. While these are group fitness sessions, our team has designed them to run on 6 week blocks for results and tracking progress. Our classes are aimed at 8 - 10 people at one time.


NOTE: most of our fitness classes are mixed gender groups

Wakey Weighty 

 "Ring ring, are you up babez? It's your Wakey Weighty class calling." We want to sweat with you while getting stronger for 35 minutes. We provide the weights, ropes, balls and encouragement - you provide the can-do attitude.

Warrior Women  

This session is fitness based training and will get you sweaty and pumped for the day ahead. You can expect the warrior in you to come alive. Warrior Women is available for fitness only and self defence packages. It blends fitness with self-defense for full impact.

Cross Blitz Circuits

Part of the appeal of Cross Blitz Circuits is the camaraderie that’s forged in the furnace of doing a brutally hard workout together. The workouts are hard, and that’s all you need to know. Join this class if you want to build your endurance, muscle, grit and self discipline. It will test the limits of your strength, speed and endurance

Hiit & Run Circuits

High-intensity circuit training involves combining both cardio and resistance training in the same workout. It alternates upper and lower body moves as well as high-intensity and lower-intensity exercises. Similar to circuit training exercise technique is very important as you are working at a much higher intensity.

Power Up Strength & Conditioning 

 Expect quickfire rounds of high-powered cardio, dynamic weight sequences and a whole lot of endorphins. It's an experience that will challenge, inspire and push you to new levels that you never thought was possible. The core focus in this session is to build technical skills, strength, power and endurance.

Hit It Pad Fitness 

 Have you ever experienced boxercise? Many love the smash and sweat style training, and we couldn't deprive you of such awesomeness. With a splash of boxercise and a dash of technical training techniques, you'll be the StandStrong woman in no time.  This is a non-contact based class. Killer Kettlebells

Strengthen and tone your entire body. You will enjoy a more toned body whilst improving your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. Expect to fall in love with the kettlebell. You will discover why it's a powerful tool for improving your fitness and overall body composition.

Saturday Sweat Circuits

Imagine a hard-hitting workout routine that mixes cardio and strength training, has you in and out of the gym in 45 minutes, and leaves you looking forward to your next workout. Sound too good to be true? It's not! It's called circuit training. Join us to wake up and feel alive for your Saturday to begin.


The truth is that up until 2017, my life looked very different. I was an anxious, depressed human with little to no self-worth. As far as I was concerned, I was not good enough and would never amount to anything. I battled with eating disorders and disordered eating, and at times wondered why I was even on this earth.  Then my life changed! 

I had been training in Krav for 7 years at the time. Even during classes, I was afraid of being pulled up to the front of the class for demonstration as the negative self-talk would be constant  -you are not good enough. You are a fraud. Yet somehow, in 2017, I found myself on the General Instructor Course under KMG UK. 

Whilst I was doing my Krav Maga instructor course,  the head instructor said to me, "you would go so much further if you didn't live in your head so much". These words stung. They stuck, and they forced me to make changes. Uncomfortable changes. Difficult changes. Painful changes. BUT changes that would take my life in a completely new direction. 

I started to challenge my old story of who I  was and what I was capable of. I began to unpick who I thought I was and my place in the world, and over time a stronger, more confident, more powerful version of myself emerged. 

My love for training grew, and I expanded my knowledge into kettlebells and strength training under StrongFirst and became a level 3 personal trainer and nutrition coach. 

I now take my experiences and use them to help people in similar situations to me. I champion the underdog, and I know change is possible with hard work and determination. I love people and hate seeing people suffer, so I created a space where people from all walks of life could come and train as equals, free from judgment or expectations on who they should be. To create a space where they could grow and fulfil their true potential.

Hi, my name is James

and coach across StandStrong fitness programmes. You will largely find me waking the crew up at the early morning circuits – wakey weighty. I have been qualified as a PT and fitness trainer for over 6 years now and I just love it. I have a real passion for helping people feel stronger , and seeing them achieve their goals. I love what StandStrong are creating, and love being part of the community here!



Great Venue, great instructors. Hannah and Sam are knowledgeable and approachable, and the members are great and very welcoming. A great place to train.
